AUSA Suncoast Chapter Jenkins Academy

WELCOME – Marilyn Westropp, AUSA Suncoast Chapter President 

Mission: To equip transitioning Soldiers to civilian life with practical, relationship-based networking skills that create real civilian employment and business opportunities.

Overview:
The AUSA Jenkins Academy is a structured workshop that teaches participants how to use relationships—not just job boards—as their primary path to civilian success. Using the Total Relationship Marketing (TRM) methodology, the Academy shows attendees how to identify key people in their network, reach out confidently, follow up consistently, and convert those relationships into interviews, offers, clients, and collaborations.

Intended Audience: Soldiers transitioning to civilian life and TRM VIP members

Pre-Academy requirements:

      • A business owner must ask: What type of company is best suited for my products or services? Who has the authority, need, budget, and timing to make a buying decision?
      • An individual must ask: What type of company is best suited for my skills and talents? Who would value my experience, training, work ethic, knowledge, or capabilities?
      • In both cases, the first step is clarity. Without a clearly defined target market, networking becomes random. With a clearly defined target market, networking becomes intentional.
